From personal transformation to global wellness mission

Back in 2020, our founder Dr. Priya Sharma was working 14-hour days as a corporate wellness consultant. She'd witnessed countless professionals struggling with stress, anxiety, and burnout. But here's what struck her most—people had forgotten how to breathe properly.

After experiencing her own breakthrough using ancient breath techniques during a particularly challenging period, she realized something profound. The solution wasn't complex meditation apps or expensive retreats. It was returning to the fundamental practice that connects mind, body, and spirit—conscious breathing.

Studara emerged from this revelation. We started in a small wellness center in Kolkata, teaching five-person classes. Today, we've guided over 15,000 individuals through transformative breathing practices that create lasting change in their daily lives.

With over 12 years in corporate wellness and certifications in pranayama, meditation, and stress management, Priya combines her background in psychology with deep knowledge of traditional breathing practices. She's personally guided thousands through their wellness journeys and continues to teach weekly classes at our Kolkata center.
